The study conferences are bodies which advise the directors of the study programmes. Student representatives send half of the members and the teaching staff the other half. Students are thus included in securing the quality of teaching and in organising programmes and teaching.  The directors of the various study programmes head the studies conferences. They are part of the conferences as permanent supervisors without voting rights.

Among the responsibilities of the study conferences are the following:

• advice on the appointment of the vice directors of the study programmes,
• advice on planned minor changes in the curricula,
• recommendations and advice on planning for teaching needs,
• recommendations and advice on suggestions made by the directors of the study, programmes to the deans in regard to the formation and orientation of the teaching programme,
• advice on matters of study organisation,
• suggestions to the directors of the study programmes on improving study requirements.
