Neue Professor*innen an der Fakultät: Herzlich willkommen, Prof. Küpper!

Mit Semesterbeginn treten neue Professor*innen in den Dienst der Fakultät. In dieser Serie stellen wir Daniela Hohenwarter-Mayr und Hans-Ulrich Küpper vor.

Wir freuen uns mitzuteilen, dass Hans-Ulrich Küpper die Professur für Rechnungswesen ab 1. Oktober 2020 für drei Jahre übernimmt. Er ist dem Institut für Rechnungswesen, Innovation und Strategie zugeordnet.

Hans-Ulrich Küpper war von 1990 bis 2013 Professor für Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, wo er auch Direktor des Instituts für Produktionswirtschaft und Controlling war. Zudem leitete Hans-Ulrich Küpper das Ludwig-Fröhler-Institut im Deutschen Handwerksinstitut sowie das Bayerische Staatsinstituts für Hochschulforschung und Hochschulplanung. Im Jahr 2005 wurde ihm die Ehrendoktorwürde durch die TU München verliehen. Seit 2013 ist er Akademischer Leiter der Bayerischen Eliteakademie.

Prof. Küpper verfasste zahlreiche Bücher u.a. zu Produktions- und Kostentheorie, Systemen der Kosten- und Erlösrechnung, Betrieblicher Mitbestimmung, Produktions- und Organisationstheorie sowie Unternehmensethik und ist Autor von ca. 200 Aufsätzen. Seine Bücher „Systeme der Kosten- und Erlösrechnung“ (zusammen mit M. Schweitzer u.a.) in 11. Auflage sowie  „Controlling: Konzeption, Aufgaben, Instrumente“ in der 6. Auflage sind Standardwerke in den Bereichen Rechnungswesen und Controlling.

Im Wintersemester 2020/21 wird Prof. Küpper u.a. die Lehrveranstaltung Kostenrechnung und ein Seminar zu Systemen des Rechnungswesens leiten.

Welcome to the Faculty, Prof. Küpper!

We are pleased to announce that Hans-Ulrich Küpper will take over the professorship of Accounting for three years from October 1, 2020. He is assigned to the Department of Accounting, Innovation and Strategy.

Hans-Ulrich Küpper was Professor of Business Administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich from 1990 to 2013, where he was also Director of the Institute of Production Management and Controlling. Hans-Ulrich Küpper also headed the Ludwig Fröhler Institute at the German Crafts Institute and the Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning. In 2005 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Technical University of Munich. Since 2013 he has been Academic Director of the Bavarian Elite Academy.

Prof. Küpper has written numerous books on, among other things, production and cost theory, systems of cost and revenue accounting, operational co-determination, production and organisation theory and business ethics and is the author of around 200 articles. His books "Systeme der Kosten- und Erlösrechnung" (together with M. Schweitzer et al.) in 11th edition and "Controlling: Konzeption, Aufgaben, Instrumente" in 6th edition are standard works in the fields of accounting and controlling.

In the winter semester 2020/21, Prof. Küpper will teach the course Kostenrechnung and a seminar on accounting systems, among others.
