CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies)

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a Central European mobility programme based on an agreement between the secretaries of education of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Poland, Rumania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The universities of Prishtina, Prizren and Peja may also participate in the program.

Students of the University of Vienna may apply for a study period at a foreign partner university via the CEEPUS Network, of which the University of Vienna is a member (see list of networks with the participation of the University of Vienna under ‘Quicklinks’).

Submission

Applications for CEEPUS scholarships should be submitted online. Deadlines and further information you can find here. You are advised to contact the network coordinator half a year before the submission deadline.

Admission

In order to study at our faculty with the CEEPUS programme, nominated students from partner universities need a valid admission at the University of Vienna.

Please contact Andrea Majnaric from the Centre for Doctoral Studies in good time (at least 4 weeks before the start of the semester) with your request for admission within the framework of CEEPUS and submit the following documents via e-mail:

  • Scan of your Master's degree certificate
  • Photo ID
