PhD - Doctoral advisory board

Doctoral advisory boards are appointed in order to give advice to the administrative body responsible for study matters, to students and supervisors. The official steps towards the institution of the advisory boards are put down in the statutes governing university studies.

The doctoral advisory board is of particular importance concerning students' presentations at the faculty. Its members are in charge of one or more fields of doctoral research or a larger part of a specific field of doctoral research within one curriculum.
