In Memory of Engelbert Dockner, one of Austria's most renowned economists, who passed away in 2017, the Dockner Lecture was founded. The lecture series is organized by the Vienna University of Technology (TU), Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the University of Vienna.
On May 10, 2022, the second Dockner Lecture took place at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. Cars Hommes, Professor of Economic Dynamics (University of Amsterdam), gave his lecture about complex economic dynamics in the Skylounge of the faculty, to an audience of numerous colleagues of Engelbert Dockner and interested students.
