NEW SEMESTER PLACE AT THE UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE!

From the summer semester 2018 onwards students can apply for a semester at the Universidad de Chile with the Erasmus+ International programme.
Please note, this is not the regular Erasmus+ programme! Applications have to be submitted with the International Office at the main university building.
Information on deadlines, prerquistes etc. can be found on the website of the International Office.

Buddies for the winter semester 2017/18 wanted!

We are looking for local students who would like to be Buddies for our incoming exchange students during the winter semester 2017/18.
Supporting an incoming exchange student is not only a great experience but the participation in the Buddy Programme also gives you extra points at your own Erasmus+ application.

SAVE THE DATE! - 'GO GLOBAL Days' 2017

On 9 and 10 October 2017 the first ever 'GO GLOBAL Days will be taking place at our faculty. This two-day event is aimed at all members of our faculty. Surrounded by the scenic view from our Sky Lounge, students, teachers, academic as well as administrative staff are invited to find out about the wide range of opportunities to internationalise their studies and their work.

Information stalls will be available on popular student and staff exchange programmes as well as lesser known initiatives. In addition, a variety of talks and presentations will be held by delegates of various programmes and institutions as well as our international coordinators. Former outgoing and current incoming exchange students and staff mobility participants will provide also talk about experiences.

Students have the chance to get information on numerous exciting opportunities:

NCTU Taiwan Elite Internship Program

This program is proposed for current Master or PhD students from renowned foreign universities to participate in short-term research at NCTU (Partner school students would be considered first). Faculty members with various specialties (in the areas of engineering, social science, computer science, biological science, electrical and computer engineering or management, etc.) from different colleges of NCTU will participate in the program and invite prospective students to do research with professors.

Qualified students will be offered 1) free round-trip economy class flight ticket from their home country to Taiwan and 2) additional NTD 5,000 scholarship (including 6% tax) for the first month in NCTU.

Research Length: at least 2 months between 13 February and 30 November 2017
